On July 8, 2026, the Water Resources Office Region 10, specifically Hydrology Section 1 (Surat Thani) and Hydrology Section 2 (Phang Nga), participated in a training session for staff and network members on the Early Warning System for Flood and Landslides project. The training was held at the Nipha Garden Hotel in Surat Thani Province, chaired by Mr. Kla-narong Yutitham, Deputy Governor of Surat Thani Province. The aim was to familiarize personnel with the operation of various equipment at warning stations, enable them to perform basic maintenance, facilitate coordination with relevant agencies, and enhance the readiness for effective flood and landslide warning and evacuation.
